Privacy Policy
What this site collects, why, and how it’s handled — plainly, since that’s the whole ethos here.

The short version
This is a personal site, not an ad-funded platform. It doesn't run analytics, tracking pixels, or advertising scripts, and it doesn't sell or share your information with anyone. The only information collected is what you choose to give when you support the journey or leave a note on the Supporter Wall — both described below.
Supporting the journey (donations)
If you use the donate form, you'll be asked for your name, email, phone number, and the amount you choose. That information is sent directly to Cashfree Payments — the payment processor that runs checkout — to create your payment session and, if needed, to reach you about that specific transaction. This site never sees or stores your card, UPI PIN, or netbanking credentials; Cashfree handles the actual payment. Payment confirmations are logged for order-matching purposes but aren't kept in a donor database on this site — anything long-term (receipts, transaction history) lives with Cashfree, governed by their own privacy policy.
Paying by UPI QR code
If you scan the QR code or pay the UPI ID directly from your own UPI app, that payment goes straight from your app to the UPI account shown — this site doesn't collect, see, or process any personal information through that flow at all.
Sign the Khata (Supporter Wall)
If you leave a note on the Supporter Wall, the name, location, and message you submit are stored and shown publicly on this site by design — that's the point of the wall. Don't include anything in your message you wouldn't want public. You can ask for an entry to be removed at any time using the contact details below.
Cookies and tracking
No Google Analytics, Meta Pixel, or similar tracking script runs on this site, and no cookies are set for advertising or tracking purposes. Video embeds use YouTube's privacy-enhanced youtube-nocookie.com domain, though YouTube may still set its own cookies once you press play — that's between you and Google, governed by YouTube's own privacy policy, not something this site controls.
Third-party services this site relies on
Cashfree Payments processes donations. Supabase stores Supporter Wall entries. Vercel hosts the site and, like any standard web host, may log routine access data (IP address, browser type, request time) as part of normal operation. Each of these is a service provider handling data on this site's behalf, under their own privacy and security practices — not a third party this data is sold to.
Your choices
This is run by one person, not a company with a dedicated privacy team — so if you want something changed, removed, or explained, the fastest path is to just ask. Email managercmj93@gmail.com to request a copy of what's on file about you, ask for a Supporter Wall entry to be taken down, or raise any other privacy question. For anything related to a specific payment, Cashfree — as the processor of record — is best placed to help directly.
Children's privacy
This site isn't directed at children, and it doesn't knowingly collect information from anyone under 18. If you believe a minor has submitted information here, contact us and it will be removed.
Changes to this policy
This page may be updated as the site changes — new features, new services, or just clearer wording. The date below reflects the version currently in effect.
